My personal mission is to empower positive mental health by facilitating strong relationships, intentional meaning making, and fulfilling connections. Time and time again, research has pointed to the relationship built between both people (the counselor and the client) to be one of the most important aspects of helping clients reach their goals. As both a counselor and a researcher I find the stories people tell to be the window to who they are. My approach provides a safe space for you to share your stories and a space for self-reflections to better understand how these stories influence you today. My counseling foundation comes from my own belief in the human capacity for growth, for deeper inner awareness, and for true self-reflection. In this approach, I do my best to understand your experience to the fullest of my ability, help you find meaning in your life experiences—even those that create suffering—with a futuristic mindset toward growth.
